Because of this, Ruby was to be shattered for fusing with the high ranking Sapphire, but the two manage to getaway. Ruby and Sapphire assisted Blue Diamond and fought against the rebels, but to save Sapphire from Pearl, Ruby accidentally fused with her, an act that is disgusting to Homeworld Gems. Later on, Blue Diamond established her court on Earth intending to shatter Rose and Pearl for their rebellion. At the Ancient Sky Arena, Pearl familiarized herself with the human concept of being a knight and using swords.

Rose explained to Pearl that by joining her, they could never go home, and if they were caught, they would be killed, which Pearl accepted. Pink Diamond (as Rose Quartz) and her Pearl rebelled, founding the Crystal Gems. Rose Quartz would be used to start a rebellion in an attempt to save the Earth, and nobody would know that it was Pink Diamond behind it all. Pink attempted to reason with the other Diamonds as to why they could not complete the colony, but when they did not listen, Pink created an alter-ego named Rose Quartz through shape-shifting. She grew fascinated by humans and other lifeforms and knew that if the colony was completed, the Kindergartens would drain all of the life force from the Earth and destroy all life that lived there. The Prime Kindergarten and other structures were successfully established, but Pink soon discovered the life that lived on Earth. Pink chose Earth to be her colony, and like any other Diamond, she sent her Gems to the planet to begin building structures and Kindergartens. Pink Diamond had begged the other Diamonds for a colony of her own until she was finally allowed to have one. Due to Gems lacking any sex organs, Rose shapeshifted a womb for her son to be born from and died due to passing on her gem to him. The current members are Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, Steven, Peridot, Connie, Bismuth, and Lapis Lazuli. All members of the group are part of an alien race known as "Gems".

I used the blood I spilled to later build a legendary Axe, which I named "Fear No Anvil"(Yes, I was reading Homestunk at the time)' which my half-ogre, dragon blooded fighte later used to slay the thing after he and the rest of the party beat him down. The Crystal Gems were formed about 5,000 years ago by Rose Quartz to protect Earth from magical threats. I'll never forget rolling a x5 Crit against a "end boss preview" fight against a demonic God of Smithing.

Some groups, when you roll 20/1 on THAT roll, you roll to confirm again, which will made you double-Crit/double-fumble, ncreasing in severity the longer you make that improbable roll.

In PF, when you roll a 20 or a 1, you roll again to confirm the crib/fail. Unrelated, secretly hoping that when you get to the episode where Rose trains connie(might be required to explain why a human girl can swordfight)Pearl either gets distracted by someone asking a dumb question and turning her back to the Hologram and getting stabbed(using the footage from the episode you skimmed over), or she rolls a string of ones and ends up missing, facing the wrong direction, and coup-de-grace. What we got, that sort of plot looking back, would be believable in the shows mood and style, but jumping right to the sequel, and making it about a kid with superpowers, would make it seem more applicable to the networks. Steven was supposed to be the sequel, supposedly, with Rose, who's loss would have ALOT more weight on the readers, being gone, and Greg(who would of been more experienced in adventuring with rose and the crew) trying to do right by Steven, possibly with ongoing tension between him and Pearl. Which would of never got on the air her in the west, and in the anime circuit, the "human boy meets ancient alien warrior princess and her entourage and falls in love" plot is stupid-common. That originally, the show was going to be romance based, and be about Rose and Greg primarily, with a very music and love based plot with action sequences. The 80's lighting in the first two panels reminds me of a rumor/theory that's been growing a lot recently.
